    Human Resources Process Architect

    Purpose of Role

    The Human Resources Process Architect is responsible for collecting data and analysing it to improve HR strategies and processes and suggests ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department. Aid key stakeholders in developing optimised business processes within their functional area and maintain adequate systems of internal control.

    Role Context

    • Recommend and enable solution improvements as required at a process, functional, data and reporting level,
    • Applies specialist knowledge in functional area of responsibility for troubleshooting,
    • Applies advanced problem-solving abilities to any challenge presented for functional area of responsibility.,
    • Manage outsourced serviced provider against SLA for incident, service requests and project delivery for functional area of responsibility,
    • Project manage initiatives within functional area of responsibility,
    • Act as the primary interface with the HR teams and other functional areas in developing appropriate processes and system interfaces within their function,
    • Stay abreast of latest best practice solutions and align company / functions as appropriate for functional area of responsibility.
    • Ensure more pro-active planning and timely start of approved project initiatives for functional area of responsibility as opposed to bottleneck situation at year-end,
    • Pro-actively invest time in self-development / training to enhance SME skill set within functional area of responsibility.
    • Verify and quality check all changes to data within HR as per standard reports,
    • Install, implement, modify, and upgrade software and applications,
    • Maintain the integrity of data held within the HRIS.
    • Serve as subject matter expert and act as a key resource of HRIS system selection and implementation, deployment of new functionality, and partnering with HR functional areas on system related process work, and integration project work,

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.

    Job-specific experience:

    • 10+ years operational experience in similar applications management role,
    • Sound understanding and knowledge base of the mining / manufacturing sector,
    • Demonstrated technical ability supporting HR.
    • Proficient experience with Microsoft 365 including Word and Outlook.
