HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic 2025 at uShaka Marine World

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric/Grade 12 
• Refrigeration Trade Test  

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

• 3 years, post trade test working experience in refrigeration / air conditioning, Cooling Tower, Chillers and general HVAC equipment. 
• 3 Years Post qualifying team leader experience, preferably in a service-related industry or similar environment. 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB 

• Execute the HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance plan and achieve YTD, Tactical, Non-tactical, PPM Attainment and Labour utilisation targets for the department. 
• Reduce no. of breakdowns 
• Conduct inspections on planned work conducted by handyman 
• Availability on standby for breakdowns and call outs 
• On the job Training and development of handymen 
• Carry out daily and weekly site inspections 
• Follow up on works orders and ensure monthly maintenance targets are met
