A three year tertiary NQF6 Diploma (360 credits) in Information Technology or related relevant qualification in Programming, Project Management, Database Design and Management or Analytical Techniques
Code B driver’s license
Computer literate
Must be able to communicate in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
Compliance with the Municipal Regulations on Minimum Competency Levels as provided for in Regulation 493 dated 15 June 2007 and amended in 2018, will serve as recommendation
Five to eight years’ relevant experience required of which two year’s must be at senior level.
Duties:
Develop and implement an Information Security Risk Management Program
Assist with formulating and executing ICT governance, risk, security, and compliance strategies
Maintain financial systems
Ensure the establishment and functioning of communication structures for ICT governance
Analyze and maintain ICT systems
Provide user support
Risk Management
Maintain audit compliance
Report on Cyber Security incidents
Project Management
Conduct audit and risk management reviews
Implement business continuity plans aligned to business impact analysis Formal and Informal Reporting to relevant stakeholders
