    Key Purpose of the role

    • The position is primarily responsible for the day to day managing of incoming work through various channels within the Corporate Employee Benefits/ Group Risk Admin unit, but not limited to this process, as and when business requirements change. This is a core administration function and the incumbent would be required to holistically manage and index incoming tasks related to Group Risk schemes. The incumbent needs to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the classifying, routing and indexing of documents according to the required business specifications. The incumbent must ensure that he/she has the knowledge, skills, tools and competencies required to perform the required job within service level agreements. able to adapt to change easily and play a role in change management within the team.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Verification of documentation and assessment thereof for accurate allocation.
    • General administration of documentation and information.
    • Working towards meeting and exceeding daily targets whereby quality and quantity amongst other requirements are measured.
    • Classifying, registering, routing and indexing of documentation to enable the recipient to complete their task.
    • Dealing with queries from internal stakeholders, communicate effectively to resolve queries and escalations, ensure expectations are met.

    Education and Experience

    • Diploma / Bachelor of commerce degree, Bachelor of Science in IT, Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science (advantageous) and related qualifications
    • Computer Literate
    • MS Office, especially Excel 
    • Group Risk Knowledge (advantageous)
