African Ideas is seeking interns with a 3 year or more tertiary qualification in Advertising, IT, Electronics, Film and Electronic media, or Telecommunication.

African Ideas is an exciting strategy and innovation consulting firm focused on Africa. Our consulting services focus on strategic planning, research, empowerment, education, development, and disruptive innovation, especially related to the impact of digitisation across society. We collaborate with companies and governments to devise transformative growth strategies, build innovation capabilities, and create products, services and solutions that improve people’s lives.

As an intern at African Ideas, you would be working on real projects in a true working environment. You will be learning by doing, and will be exposed to and be mentored by African Ideas staff that have made a name for themselves in the private or governmental space.

Our ideal candidate is someone enthusiastic about learning/working and who is able to adapt to new environments and take on new skills quickly. The position is Cape Town-based and is open to all South African citizens.

The internship lasts 12 months, and the salary begins at R3800 - though there is room for growth with skill and experience.
