3 to 5 years’ experience in the Engineering field or trade within the instrumentation or automation fields in a junior specialist, operations or function specific role with specific reference to the related supervisory competencies within a pulp and paper environment.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:
Supervise all aspects of the team’s health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
Ensure cost effective team operations by allocating resources, prioritizing work and maximizing plant availability.
Foster and maintain customer and supplier relations.
Implement team KPI’s that are aligned to the departmental plan.
Technical Instrumentation team support in automation and instrumentation maintenance in power & recovery.
Allocate team resources to areas where required to ensure optimum availability and efficiency of equipment.
Deliver weekly and monthly instrumentation maintenance team reports.
Effective team supervision of the instrumentation maintenance team.
