JOB SUMMARY

• The Integration Developer will create seamless communication and data exchange between different IT systems by designing, building, and implementing integration solutions that connect various software applications, systems, and databases. This role will improve efficiency and productivity while meeting business requirements.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

• Our client exists to combat financial abuse by implementing measures outlined in the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 and provides customer due diligence measures, sanctions, risk management and compliance programs, directives, and administrative sanctions.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

To be shortlisted for this role, you should have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:

• Relevant ICT degree or equivalent qualification.
• 6+ years in requirements gathering.
• 6+ years in integration design.
• 6+ years in integration patterns and architecture.
• 6+ years in integration development using C#, JavaScripting, web services, REST APIs, JSON, XML, API management platforms.
• 3+ years in agile development methodologies.
• 3+ years in testing and quality assurance.
• 2+ years in security.
• 3+ years in technical writing.
• 3+ years in project management within an agile environment.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and policies.
• Experience in mentoring junior resources.
• Advantageous: knowledge of infrastructure, networks and database management system.
• Advantageous: experience in developing cloud-based integration solutions in Azure cloud environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Requirements gathering: Collect, document and review business requirements through engagement with the business.
• Integration design: Design integration solutions considering design attributes such as scalability, reliability and performance, while meeting business requirements.
• Integration patterns and architecture: Select and apply relevant and best practice integration patterns.
• Integration development: Develop complex integration solutions utilizing various integration techniques and development languages.
• Agile development methodologies: Develop solutions following agile delivery and continuous integration deployment.
• Testing and Quality assurance: Define, develop and execute integration test plans and ensure good quality code development.
• Security: Design secured integration solutions and apply relevant security best practices.
• Technical writing: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, specifications and related technical specifications.
• Project management: Plan, organise and manage complex system integration projects within specified time and budget constraints.
• Data Governance: Understand data governance principles and implement data governance processes and policies to ensure data integrity and security.
• Mentoring: Guide and support junior resources on data-related tasks.
