International Commercial Controller at Engen

Purpose of the Job

Manage International Supply Chain commercial data, customer invoicing and trade positions for sales and purchases to ensure efficient business operations.

What you’ll have done before:

Baseline:

• NQF Level 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Commerce/Finance or relevant)
• 5 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance related field
• Experience and knowledge of ETRM system

Advantageous:

• Experience and knowledge of SAP system

What you’ll be doing:

TRADING DEALS:

• Provide necessary support to international trading deals by ensuring that the deals are captured accurately & timeously in the system, agree to invoices, transfer documents and pricing terms are prepared, invoices and debit/credit notes are prepared and sent to customers and reviewing of payments and receivable report for all subsequent costs and product costs

TREASURY SUPPORT

• Ensure that all deals are appropriately hedged by informing Treasury timeously and exposure reports are submitted to Treasury

REPORTING

• Ensure accurate and relevant reports are prepared and submitted as per the agreed format and timelines as well prepare the adhoc reports as and when required

NETWORKING AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

• Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with the government authorities, business and management institutions, national and key industry players and service providers to keep abreast with latest development to capture new business opportunities.
