Internship Opportunity: Facilities and Office Management at Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA)

The candidate will be responsible for the following functions

• Maintenance Support: Log and track service requests; assist on site with routine checks
• Vendor Liaison: Assist in preparing Request for Quotations (RFQs); maintain the contractor register and SLA records.
• Space Planning and Asset Management: Assist with office layout planning and space allocation asset registers.
• Health and Safety Assistance: Support coordination of OHS programmes; help maintain OHS logs and checklists.
• Cleaning Coordination: Liaise with cleaning staff and contractors; perform spot checks and basic cleaning tasks.
• Boardroom Management: Schedule bookings and ensure room readiness.
• Document Management: Support document management by ensuring all paperwork is up to date and stored in accordance with ISO Standards.
• General administrative support

Minimum Requirements

• A grade 12 or matric certificate
• National Diploma or equivalent at a NQF 6 level in Facilities Management, Office Management, Business Administration, Administration, Public Management/ Public Administration or equivalent.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification in above-mentioned fields will be an added advantage.
