Planning, optimising and controlling optimum stock levels across the sales depots, Breweries and distributor grid for South Africa;
Ensuring that business enablers (process and systems) are aligned to achieving current business objectives
Management of Load planning and TMS optimization, including Distributor interface
Generation of a Weekly deployment plans to ensure adherence to defined stock standards
Generation of daily deployment plan within the context of resource constraints and expediting requirements, alignment with T1 on operating hours and capacity
Custodian of age concession management on behalf of planning
Ensuring that business enablers (process and systems) are aligned to achieving future business objectives
Specific activities related to the management and distribution of NPD type stock
Stock age issues and quantifying potential write off risks
Management of the Inventory Deployment team to ensure;
a good understanding of central planning and broader business functions resides in team
good inter and intra communication
positive attitude and continues improvement
Strategic/tactical accountability to South Africa for load planning in terms of:
Continuous review and inputs to Advanced planning cycles in an attempt to improve on stock availability at a lower cost & optimized load planning
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant Bachelor's degree in Planning, Supply Chain Management or Logistics
3 – 5 years operational or planning experience in FMCG
Deep Knowledge of NoCC Logistics and Planning processes, specifically inventory management
Understanding of ABInBev Logistics and Planning principles
Improvement through root cause and trends analysis using Belt methodology
Demonstrable problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
