    Investment Pricing Analyst

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Under the management and direction of the Head of Pricing, the Investment Pricing Analyst will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to);

    • Understand and review large sets of data – including the interrogation of both internal and external data sets to ensure its accuracy and completeness. Identification of relevant trends and /or data anomalies which may provide useful insights and /or highlight pricing risks.
    • Data enhancement and preparation – utilise additional data (internal and external) to enhance the data sets received from clients.
    • Collaborate in the team in ways to enhance existing pricing models and build new pricing models to: o Predict future performance of debt portfolios using the data available. o Incorporate financial modelling to value the debt portfolios.
    • Present pricing model outputs to a senior team of executives.
    • Assist the senior executives in preparing investment proposals for presentation to the Group’s Investment Committee.
    • Monitor and report on investment performance.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A statistical, mathematical and or a financial degree
    • The individual should have 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience (experience at a credit provider or professional services firm will be beneficial)
    • The role will require proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel to perform financial modelling and analyse data.
    • Proficient and have a working knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL; Python or similar.

    COMPETENCIES / SKILLS

    • Understand the role of predictive analytics in credit management and have experience in working with and analysing large sets of data.
    • Strong inter-personnel and communication skills to ensure an ability to clearly communicate at various levels of management including the senior executive team.
    • Self-motivated, analytically minded and inquisitive
    • Able to work to a high degree of precision while ensuring that you are able to keep the broader objective in mind.
    • Worked in or you are ready to work in a high performance deadline driven team
