    Invoicing Operator

    • The Invoicing Operator will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all orders before they are dispatched from the Distribution Centre according to the requirements of the company.

    The main responsibilities of the role include: 

    • Ensure all orders are diverted to the correct spur and scanned into the allocated dispatch bins according to the order and dispatch bin sizes.
    • Ensure all overflowing orders are consolidated.
    • Ensure all orders are consolidated, and the correct documentation pack is printed out prior to the orders going through the shrink-wrapping machine.
    • Ensure all priority orders are actioned timeously and complete customer service levels are achieved.
    • Upon arrival at the dispatch gate, greet customers courteously and ensure that all orders are consolidated and ready for collection.
    • Ensure that the customer and security check the order and number of cartons in accordance with the invoice, carton label, picking slip, and number of cartons collected by the customer.
    • When the customer receives their order, make sure they record their name, sign their signature, and write the date on the invoice.
    • Ensure all orders for RTT are consolidated and scanned according to the picking slip, carton label and total number of cartons per order.
    • Ensure all orders have the correct documentation attached prior to the order going through to RTT staging area.
    • Ensure the staging area is opened, locked and re-opened, with a continuously flow of orders according to the requirements and rules of the company.
    • Ensure the handover of the orders is done timeously to the haulier with the correct documentation.

    The experience we’re looking for:

    • Previous work experience or knowledge involving being an Invoicing Operator.
    • Previous work experience in a warehouse environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.

    • Works quickly and accurately and shows attention to detail in their work.
    • Has the right attitude, and willing to learn.
    • Likes to get “stuck in”, and who has a sense of urgency to deliver agreed results.
    • Works in an organised manner.
