Irene, PTA | Au Pair | R8500 - R9500 at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Irene, PTA
• Ages: Twin girls aged 6 years old in Grade R (One daughter has ADHD, but it’s well managed)
• Working hours: Monday – Friday: 113:30 - 17:00
• School holiday hours: Mon – Fri 13:30 – 17:00. If you are available to help out a few weeks during school holidays for full day, you will be paid an hourly rate for any additional hours worked.
• Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with children, baking, arts and crafts etc, Prepare meals for your children,  weekend travel with the family if you are available and willing.
• Requirements: Female, patient, someone who takes initiative and is comfortable with children of that age. Someone energetic who gets down and plays with the kids, can be firm when needed but overall kind and understanding.
• Start date: 04th August 2026 – permanent contract
• Salary: R8500 - R9500 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95) for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
