ISDG Scarce Skills Graduate Graduate Trauma Facilitator at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification, preferably a Degree in Behavioural Science, such as Social Work and Psychology
• Minimum 0 2 years
• Computer literacy
• Incumbent required to work on a citywide basis.
• Working knowledge of the relevant Acts and Regulations pertaining to the job
• Registration with the relevant Council
• Unemployed South African graduates who reside in Cape Town

Key Performance Areas

• Responsible for the facilitation of trauma related services, events, and functions both at developmental and support level.
• Assists in the implementation of policy and associated operational plans
• Working within the parameters of the professional code of practice for helping / healthcare professions
• Assists in the evaluation of interventions with a view to improved service delivery
• Assists with the assessment, evaluation, and implementation of planned programs
• Assists in the provision of trauma-related intervention and support
• Assists in the provisioning of containment, defusing and trauma debriefing, and support to employees
• Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, managers, and service providers
• Assists in the provision of psychosocial information/education session
