    IT Administrator - Cape Town

    YOUR MISSION

    • The IT Administrator’s role is to support the business’ IT needs and facilitate the growth of the company in an efficient manner, with a focus on the Retail aspect of our business. The IT function should ensure business continuity is maintained via the upkeep of IT equipment and minimize downtime and continue to implement new and innovative ideas across the business with specific attention and focus on first line support and Functions.

    KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

    Support:

    • Handling of Retail Tickets and Support.
    • To be responsible for Hardware, Software, Networks, OS, Digital Signage, Fibre, VoIP, MS Teams.

    Network:

    • Maintain and implement Vlans, IP Subnets, Follow set standards.
    • Ensure that there is adequate WiFi support and coverage.

    Project Management:

    • Liaise and communicate with various stakeholders.
    • Attend Meetings and assist with requirements.
    • Track and spend within Budget and delivered by deadlines.
    • Propose new ideas, assign and align resources.
    • Provide administrative support in executing project rollout and meet deadlines.

    Administration:

    • To be responsible for the loading of PO’s, sending and receiving of IT goods.
    • Maintain all documentation of Systems.
    • Handle Asset Tracking and Management.

    YOUR TALENT

    • At least 3 years’ experience in first line desktop Support, 1 Year Server Management, 1 Year Retail Support (can be simultaneous).
    • Knowledge of Retail POS system would be advantageous.
    • Good understanding of the following: Desktop and Network Support, New systems implementations, hardware and software troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of all around windows troubleshooting and problem resolution.
    • Basic knowledge of Sharepoint /Intranet, alarm systems and CCTV systems is a plus.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly motivated and proactive in helping teammates to succeed in projects.
    • Keen interest and enquiring mind related to IT Systems and Implementations.
