IT Analyst: Systems at RCL Foods

• The Systems Analyst will be responsible for the design, support and continuous improvement of bespoke and custom digital software solutions within the RCL Sugar landscape, with potential future scope across the broader RCL FOODS Group. The role includes analysing business needs, developing solution specifications, supporting development and maintenance activities, ensuring alignment to software architecture and governance standards, and enabling IT teams to support these solutions effectively.

Minimum Requirements    

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field. 
• Minimum 5 years' experience in systems analysis, application support, software development, or solution delivery. 
• Relevant systems analysis, software development, or solution architecture certification advantageous. 
• Experience in software solution design, implementation, support, and systems integration. 
• Working knowledge of C#, Python, ASP.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, APIs, and web services.
• Understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering, software development methodologies, and application lifecycle management. 
• Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, agricultural, or production environments will be advantageous. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills. 
• Effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management capability. 
• Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable technology solutions. 
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across business and technical teams.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Act as the primary liaison between Business, IT and external software solution providers. 
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into sustainable software technology solutions. 
• Design, implement and support custom and bespoke software solutions. 
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through digital solutions. 
• Coordinate solution testing, deployment and user adoption activities. 
• Maintain application architecture, technical documentation and support standards. 
• Support application integration across the Sugar systems landscape. 
• Participate in project delivery, vendor engagements and continuous improvement initiatives.
