    IT Business Partner-EMEA

    YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    The candidate will serve as IT Business Partner for Brenntag Africa Region and be responsible for laying out IT strategic roadmap and executions, to support business day-to-day operations, growth and functional efficiency/productivity.

    The candidate will act as the IT advocate for IT services and capabilities, facilitate investment planning and budget control, identify opportunities (ROI, productivity, compliance, etc.), and manage demand portfolio intake and prioritization with Benelux stakeholders as well as alignment with global technical deployment & support teams. The candidate should also serve as the escalation point for all IT deliverables to African countries and leverage relevant IT teams (either global or local) to solve business challenges and deliverables.

    They should manage expectations of Benelux country leaders and communicate decisions and relevant information succinctly and frequently. They should understand African business operations, translate business requirements into technical design, and project-manage effectively for deployments/enhancements/lights-on activities.

    Manage project portfolio of assigned functional domain or region/sub-region.

    Develop and deliver technology roadmap which aligns with business objectives.

    Align prioritization of demands with executive stakeholders.

    Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution and process compatibility with company standards.

    Proactively develop technology demands & ideas.

    Carry out demand evaluation (objectives, business case, solution proposal, project plan, resources, cost, etc.).

    Progress demands to an approving committee decision on project approval.

    Secure executive sponsorship, and resources from business and IT.

    Collaborate with the Project Management Office on prioritization and resourcing of candidate projects.

    Oversee the deployment of solutions and support in ROI realization.

    Serve as the escalation point for all IT deliverables.

    Should manage expectations of EMEA Africa business leaders and communicate decisions and relevant information succinctly and frequently.

    Project Lead (e.g. Regional, M&A, global):

    For small-sized projects (e.g. local or single-domain), serve as Project Manager.

    For large-sized projects (with dedicated program manager), serve as Module Lead for specific domain(s) or region/sub-region(s).

    Set up project organization and secure the required IT and business resources.

    Manage business and IT stakeholders, change managers, key users, etc.

    Define business and high-level functional requirements.

    Accountable for defined project deliverables.

    Ensure process and solution alignment with respective subject authorities.

    Support (not lead) in change management and adoption.

    Have the attitude of “rolling up your sleeves" and being operational when required

    YOUR PROFILE

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field required.
    • 8+ years professional experience in related field with a broad range of exposure to various technologies and business segments.
    • Executive presentation and communication skills, experience in communicating with senior management.
    • Good understanding of enterprise business application fundamentals (e.g., CRM, ERP, Data).
    • Proven track record in project management.
    • Proven track record in a specific functional domain (e.g., commercial, supply chain, finance).
    • Business-level competency in English (and language in assigned region/sub-region, if applicable).
    • Self-start, proactive and collaborative

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field required.8+ years professional experience in related field with a broad range of exposure to various technologies and business segments.
