Job Description

• The IT Cloud Specialist is responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing the cloud infrastructure to support business operations and scalability. This role focuses on hands-on administration of core Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, and Storage Accounts.
• The incumbent will also handle broader operational and architectural components such as networking, security, monitoring, resource management, and FinOps-driven cost optimization.
• This position requires a proactive approach to ensure high availability, cost efficiency, and compliance in a dynamic cloud environment. Ideal for a mid-to-senior level professional with strong Azure expertise who will be reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Required: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700).

Experience:

• 3+ years in cloud administration. Hands-on experience managing production environments with the specified services.
