Job Description

• Meridian Services is offering a 12-month Workplace Experience Programme for unemployed IT Degree Graduates seeking practical workplace exposure to enhance their technical skills and improve their career prospects.
• Based in Brackenfell, the programme provides valuable hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, data analysis, business intelligence, software applications, and operational support, equipping participants with industry-relevant knowledge and experience in a professional working environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to users
• Assist with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Support troubleshooting of computer systems, printers, and network-related issues
• Maintain IT records, asset registers, and documentation
• Assist with user account administration and system updates
• Support the IT team with daily operational activities and projects
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and information security standards
• Perform general IT administrative and technical support duties

Requirements

• Aged between 18 and 28 years
• Currently unemployed and available for the full 12-month programme.
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous but not required
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer literacy and technical knowledge
• Willingness to learn and work in a professional environment
