Job Description

• Meridian Services is offering an 18-month workplace experience programme for unemployed TVET graduates who have completed an N6 Certificate and require practical workplace experience to obtain their National N Diploma. The internship is based in Sandton and provides hands-on exposure to IT support, systems administration, and business technology operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to users
• Assist with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Support troubleshooting of computer systems, printers, and network-related issues
• Maintain IT records, asset registers, and documentation
• Assist with user account administration and system updates
• Support the IT team with daily operational activities and projects
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and information security standards
• Perform general IT administrative and technical support duties

Requirements

• Aged between 18 and 28 years
• Completed N6 TVET Certificate
• Unemployed and require workplace experience to obtain a National N Diploma
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous but not required
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer literacy and technical knowledge
• Willingness to learn and work in a professional environment
