IT Internal Sales / Junior Account Manager: Bloemfontein, Free State at FS Personnel Recruitment

• Our client is looking for an IT-experienced person to be trained as an Internal Sales / Account Manager in Hikvision products.

Salary:

• Basic Salary: R20 000 p/m
• Monthly Commission when targets are met: R2 500
• Quarterly Commission: R1 000

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Matric
• A tertiary qualification in IT, Sales, Business Management or a related field will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT-related environment.
• Experience in IT Support, IT Hardware, Technical Sales, IT Sales, Desktop Support, IT Administration or a related IT environment will be considered.
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of IT hardware and technology.
• Hikvision knowledge or experience is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, cabling solutions, racking systems and enclosures will be advantageous.
• Driver’s Licence & Own Vehicle

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the development of profitable sales and the achievement of sales targets in the Free State region.
• Responsible for the internal management of a strategic account set.
• Contact customers proactively to follow up on quotations and opportunities.
• Attend to and initiate sales calls.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their business needs, challenges and opportunities.
• Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Build an active customer base, identifying sales opportunities and growing business revenue to achieve a sales budget on a continuous basis.
• Implement the agreed business sales strategy.
• Maximise sales by expanding orders and upselling.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
• Act as liaison between customers and Company departments to communicate and coordinate deliveries, general information, ETAs and feedback.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing queries, resolving issues and complaints, and ensuring SLAs are met.
• Prepare and compile quotations according to specifications.
• Process orders.
• Process relevant delivery notes and documentation.
• Meet and exceed agreed SLAs on quoting and deliveries.
• Negotiate prices to achieve sales targets.
• Follow up on orders with other departments to meet SLAs.
• Prepare and present weekly sales and activity reports to management, including pipeline, run rates and daily quotation reports.
• Work closely with internal departments, including Brand and Logistics teams, to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
• Liaise with stores and dispatch regarding deliveries of all orders and the supply of invoices.
• Attend product training and acquire updated knowledge regarding brands, products and operating processes.
• Update stock reports, back-orders and orders received daily.
• Liaise with clients and partners regarding daily queries.
• Work committedly within agreed company-targeted budget revenue, marketing and expense parameters.
• Attend Sales and Brand events.
