IT Support at Phakisa Group

• We are seeking an entry-level IT Support professional to join our team in Roodepoort on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary diploma in Information Technology or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
IT Systems & Project Support (70%):

• Provide dedicated IT support for the South African business.
• Assist with system enhancements, testing, documentation, and project administration.
• Support business users during project rollouts and ensure successful adoption of new solutions.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Knowledge Transfer & Team Enablement:

• Document processes, procedures, and support requirements.
• Develop internal capabilities and ensure knowledge retention within the team.

SAP Operational Support (30%):

• Provide Level 1 SAP support for continuity of service.
• Manage routine user queries, troubleshooting, and incident logging.
• Support business users with day-to-day SAP operational issues.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in IT projects, system implementations, testing, and user support.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications and basic SAP knowledge.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
