Key Responsibilities

• Security Compliance (Linux and Windows Server)

• Tertiary education and relevant technology courses attended.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

• We are looking for a technically skilled candidate with at least 5-10 years of experience in IT server support. The duties included the following:
• Experience in Virtualization (physical server maintenance, server provisioning, security focus, and support)
• Overseeing and maintaining both physical and virtual server environments.
• Server Managing, ensuring the smooth functioning, and addressing any issues
• Linux administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Linux ,configuration, implementation, management and support)
• VMware (including ESX OS, vCenter, configuration, implementation, management and support )
• Microsoft Server, DCHP, DNS, and Active Directory
• Experience with Linux and Windows Security Patch Management
• SCCM and SCOM
• Hardware and Software Installation on Servers (New and/or rebuild existing Servers)
• Able to identify and assist in resolving performance bottlenecks
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide the necessary updates to stakeholders
