    Journal Controller

    Overall Purpose of the Job

    • To perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient processing of journals

    Complete and accurate journal processing for all ADvTECH departments

    Maintain checklist of all recurring journals to be processed monthly / bi annually / annually including

    • Payroll related
    • Revenue related
    • AP accrual / AR related
    • Assets / capex related
    • Tax related
    • Obtain all journal and supporting documentation
    • Obtain all journal and supporting documentation for all ad hoc / corrections journal
    • Process journal entries

    Timely query resolution within 2-day period

    • Clear queries allocated in Fresh service
    • Address ad hoc queries from Brands
    • Provide information required by internal and external auditors

    Timely execution of ad-hoc projects

    • Provide information required / execute tasks defined by Team lead as and when required for additional projects e.g. D365 migration

    Education

    • Grade 12 with a bookkeeping qualification
