Junior Attorney (Corporate Legal Support) at Atlas Finance

Job purpose:

• This role is ideal for a recently qualified attorney, legal graduate or experienced paralegal with experience, looking to build a career in corporate law. You will provide support across contracts, compliance, claims, collections, direct legal process, dispute resolution, and ensure our operations remain legally sound and compliant.

Key Accountable Responsibilities:

• Manage claims, litigation preparation, and dispute resolution.
• Draft and review contracts and corporate agreements.
• Instruct and co-ordinate external legal support on matters.
• Support compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
• Provide day-to-day legal advisory to managers and business units.

Competency and qualification requirements:

• LLB degree (recently qualified attorney or candidate attorney completing articles).
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of South African corporate law and compliance frameworks.
