    Junior Bid Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a proactive Junior Bid Manager to support our bid management team. In this role, you will assist in identifying new business opportunities, contribute to the development of bid strategies, and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the bid process.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Support the development and execution of bid plans, schedules, and budgets, helping to coordinate resources and tasks within the team on simple solutions/proposals.
    • Assist Senior Bid Managers with Bid Office Administration of Large/Complex Solutions
    • Provide administrative assistance to manage and monitor the bid process, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards.
    • Help maintain bid automation tools and systems to facilitate an efficient bid workflow and document management.
    • Contribute to the creation of bid content, ensuring it meets quality standards and aligns with client requirements.
    • Participate in the review and editing of bid documents and proposals, offering support to bid writers and team members.
    • Support bid presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions under the guidance of senior staff.
    • Assist in analysing bid performance and outcomes and contribute to the identification of improvement opportunities.
    • Engage in training programs and seek mentorship for professional development within the bid management field.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within a bid management or project management context.
    • Familiarity with the bid management process and a willingness to learn and apply best practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an eagerness to learn about bid automation and management software.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
    • Good organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • A commitment to developing leadership and management abilities.
    • A customer-oriented approach and a dedication to contributing to a culture of quality and excellence.
