Job Description    

• RCL FOODS is recruiting for a Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT Team on a fixed term contract.

As a Junior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing key support to the business and extract maximum value from the information technology platform, specifically its SAP system, and 3rd Party SAP Sales & Distribution Application.
Minimum Requirements    

• B.Sc.: IT; B.Com.: IT; Diploma: Data Science or any other relevant qualification.
• Must have knowledge or experience of Business Processes and Business Solutions Reporting
• Systems thinking and the ability to analyse data will be important skills needed to succeed in this role.
• Database experience would be a distinct advantage.
• Programming skills would also be an advantage.
• Applicant must have proven analytical and problem solving skills and pay meticulous attention to detail.
• Applicant must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African citizen.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Provide Business Information Reporting Support.
• Check month-end runs and confirm publication distribution.
• Perform daily and monthly reporting operations.
• Assist with User Support and the definition of User Requirements.
• Assist BI with problem solving / research (SDN, SAP, etc.)
• Provide SAP ERP Support.
• Assist with master data validation
• Assist with reconciliations between ERP and BW.
• Ensure strict confidentiality at all times.
• Support initiatives for data integrity and normalisation
• Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning, prioritising and self-development.
• Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
