    Junior Content Designer | Johannesburg

    About the role

    • Managed People Solutions is looking for a Junior Content Designer to join our team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging learning content and training solutions that support business capability and employee development objectives.
    • The role includes creating eLearning content, training manuals, videos, infographics, and other learning materials, while also supporting Learning Management System (LMS) administration, training reporting, and training coordination activities to ensure the effective delivery and measurement of learning initiatives.
    • This role is ideal for a creative individual with a passion for instructional design, digital learning, and content development.

    What You'll Do

    How outcomes are delivered

    • Design and develop eLearning modules using Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise). Create learner guides, facilitator manuals, assessments, and job aids. Develop storyboards and apply instructional design methodologies to create engaging learning experiences.
    • Develop videos, infographics, visual aids, and interactive learning content using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, AI platforms, and multimedia software.
    • Maintain and administer the Signify LMS system, including loading training content, managing learner data, scheduling training events, tracking completions, and generating reports.
    • Compile and distribute training reports, learner analytics, attendance reports, ROI tracking, and training effectiveness data.
    • Coordinate training logistics including attendance registers, training room bookings, online meeting recordings, scheduling, and learner communication.
    • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather content requirements, validate information, and ensure alignment to business objectives.
    • Research and implement new learning trends, technologies, and AI tools to improve content quality, learner engagement, and operational efficiency.

    How success is measured

    • Percentage of learning projects delivered on time
    • Stakeholder and learner feedback ratings
    • Accuracy of learner records and LMS uploads
    • Accuracy and timeliness of training reports
    • Learner completion and participation rates 
    • Effective coordination of training logistics and records
    • Adoption of new tools, methodologies, or process improvements

    Capability requirements

    • Ability to design and develop effective learning solutions using adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
    • Ability to create interactive eLearning content using Storyline and Rise.
    • Ability to manage learning systems, learner data, reporting, and training events.
    • Ability to create engaging written, visual, and multimedia learning materials.
    • Ability to utilise AI tools to support content creation, efficiency, and innovation.
    • Ability to compile, analyse, and interpret training data and reports.
    • Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Canva, and related software.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Grade 12 (Matric).
    • Qualification, certification, or short course in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, eLearning Development, Educational Technology, or related field.
    • 2 – 3 years’ experience in Instructional Design, Content Design, eLearning Development, or Learning & Development environment. Experience working with SMEs, LMS systems, and training administration.
    • Experience using Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise), Canva, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, LMS systems, AI tools, and multimedia development tools.
    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
    • Legal right to work in South Africa / relevant markets
