Junior Financial Archivist at Burgiss

About the Role 

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that financial documentation is retrieved and organized in a timely manner in order to support data conversion. This includes matching data points across systems to ensure documentation consistency and accuracy, data entry, indexing and uploading files. Role based in Stellenbosch and new joiners will be expected to work from the office. Flexible working may be permitted after probation.

Key Responsibilities 

• Digital archiving of various financial documentation
• Effectively navigate manager portals to ensure all documentation is processed accordingly
• Contribute to low risk administrative projects
• Perform audits and other quality control functions for the content set
• Comply with all documentation policies, standards and processes

• High levels of focus and the ability to work with and accurately process large volumes of documentation

Experience & Qualifications 

• Undergraduate degree (all majors considered) OR 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Familiarity with financial markets, accounting practices and private capital
• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
• A suitable work from home setup, in the form of a reliable internet service and a dedicated, properly equipped workspace.
