Purpose Statement
Under the guidance & direct supervision of the Manager: Forensic Investigations, investigate instances of risk related to various types of fraud incidents across Capitec Bank (e.g. internal corruption, serious breach of policies and procedures, and criminal syndicates) including investigating the matter, the parties involved and provide appropriate evidence for disciplinary hearings and/or criminal proceedings.
To identify control weaknesses and recommend preventative measures, improvements and training initiatives against potential fraud to Capitec Bank.
Experience
1-2 years’ proven experience as a Forensic Investigator/Auditor
At least 3 years’ experience within Capitec Bank, preferable with branch /operational environment
Qualifications (Minimum)
Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
A relevant tertiary qualification in Forensics
A relevant degree in Forensics or Law
