Junior IT Support Specialist - Mtubatuba at Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI)

Description

• The Junior IT Support Specialist will ensure that end users receive optimal IT support in a timely manner. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day technical support to the end-users at all levels. This position will work closely with the Senior IT Support Specialist to provide end-user IT support. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualification

• Professional information technology certificates such as A+, N+, INET MOUS, ITILv3 foundation, etc. (a diploma, degree is advantageous
• Valid driver's license.

Minimum Experience

• At least 1 years’ experience in desktop/helpdesk support or similar position
• Experience working with all Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Strong experience with DHCP, DNS and General Networking
• Strong Microsoft Windows operating systems and Apple Mac OSX experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop products including Office, Office 365

Advantageous

• Linux skills and experience
• Diploma in Information Technology
