KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the quality of teaching, learning and pastoral care across the Junior Prep phase.
Coach, mentor and develop staff; facilitate targeted CPD aligned to improvement priorities.
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment cycles, moderation and statutory/reporting timelines.
Use attainment/progress data to drive intervention, enrichment and continuous improvement.
Model high-impact classroom practice and a calm, consistent behaviour culture.
Strengthen parent partnership through timely, transparent communication (meetings, reports, updates).
Manage phase operations (timetables, cover/locum coordination, routines, compliance and safeguarding).
Coordinate/co-lead co-curricular programmes and key JP events.
Support recruitment/induction and performance development; deputise for senior leaders when needed.
