As a Junior Project Engineer, your role is crucial in the development of commercial and industrial solar projects. Working alongside seasoned professionals, you’ll be responsible for system design and quotation, leveraging tools like Helioscope for initial solar and BESS system designs. Conducting technical site visits and providing daily remote monitoring of existing assets will be at the core of your responsibilities. Your outgoing personality will shine as you communicate with electricians, installers, and customers, ensuring the success of our projects.
What you’ll need
To excel in this role, bring your Bachelor or Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering, coupled with experience in the renewable energy space, ideally solar. Your technical design experience, excellent computer skills, and proficiency in tools like Helioscope, PV Syst, and AutoCAD (a plus) will set you apart. Being an independent thinker with attention to detail, and comfortable with frequent travel within Gauteng, are key qualities for success.
