Junior Purchasing Officer - Centurion at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

To perform and co-ordinate daily procurement functions to ensure efficient and timeous service delivery. To provide timeous assistance and advice to relevant internal users /

• clients with regards to the office equipment and cell phones. To provide ad hoc timeous assistance and service to relevant internal and external clients as well as perform with general administrative functions.

Requirements:

• Grade 12

Required Experience:

• 1 - 2 years general experience within logistics and procurement - pathology environment, 3 – 6 months cell phone administration, 3 – 6 months materials management procurement, 3 – 6 months office equipment support

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate and arrange the procurement and maintenance of laboratory / office equipment., Maintain and update Contract system AD HOC support in accordance with departmental requirements., Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath., Perform ad hoc support in accordance with departmental requirements., Perform all cell phone related administration to provide internal clients with a sufficient support service and to ensure that the relevant SLA’ are maintained., Perform general contract / departmental related administrative tasks., Perform Procurement administration tasks in order to ensure the effective functioning of systems and access to information., Perform procurement duties to ensure accurate processing and recording of procurement documentation
