    Key Account Manager

    Job Description    

    • Managing a portfolio of specialty and commodity raw materials strategically into Personal Care, Home care and Pharmaceutical industries within Gauteng from purchase to selling
    • Managing a portfolio of Key Account Customers
    • Price Negotiations at senior levels
    • Promotion of company products and image
    • Key account management
    • New business development
    • Technical presentations at customers new product launches
    • Industry or market knowledge within the Personal Care and Homecare markets
    • Growing customer base year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins
    • Attending conferences as needed
    • Responsible for forecasting on a monthly basis
    • Collating and submitting market surveys
    • General administration of call reports, updating of CRM database etc.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric
    • BSC or National Diploma in Chemistry or related discipline applicable to the industries we operate in
    • Minimum 5 years sales experience selling raw materials/ingredients within the personal care and home care Industries
    • Must have sound understanding of pricing structures
    • Must currently/previously be in sales position within the Personal Care/Homecare/Pharmaceutical Industry
    • Technical experience in the personal/homecare industry is beneficial
