Laundry Aid and General Cleaner at Rohloff Group

• Are you detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining high standards? We're looking for a Laundry Aid and General Cleaner to join our dynamic Team at KFC Rohloff Group. Drive our franchise group's growth and success through ensuring that all laundry items are properly sorted, washed, dried and folded. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, performing routine maintenance on laundry equipment, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:

Washing and Drying:

• Operate washing machines and dryers to clean linens, uniforms, towels, and other fabric-based items.
• Sorting and Folding: Sort laundry items based on type, colour, and fabric; fold and organize cleaned laundry
• Ironing: Iron garments, uniforms, and other laundry items to remove wrinkles and ensure a neat appearance.
• Stain Removal: Identify and treat stains on fabrics using appropriate methods and cleaning agents.

Maintaining Inventory:

• Track and monitor laundry supplies like detergent, fabric softener, and other consumables to ensure proper stock levels.

Maintaining Equipment:

• Regularly clean, maintain, and report any issues with laundry machines and equipment.

Surface Cleaning:

• Clean and sanitize floors, windows, walls, desks, furniture, and other surfaces in the business premises.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in restrooms, including replenishing soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Restroom Maintenance:

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used wisely.
• Ensure common areas, break rooms, kitchens, and other spaces are kept clean and organized
• Collect and dispose of waste in a timely and proper manner; replace trash bags and ensure bins are clean

What You Bring to the Table:

• Grade 12 Matric Certificate
• 3 + years of relevant experience
