Lead, 3rd Party & Vendor Management at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To take full responsibility for the overall management, control and utilisation of 3rd party contracts used across the group IT to ensure optimal usage. This includes ongoing alignment and engagement with the major IT suppliers and the Group Information Technology executives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• First Degree in IT and Computer Sciences and degrees and experience in Procurement, Purchasing or Commerce will be beneficial and be considered
• Professional qualifications, CA, MCIPS, PMP will be an advantage
• Minimum 5 years Banking industry experience with 10+ years good working knowledge and experience with the implementation and management of capabilities and frameworks within a corporate environment with significant experience in providing operational, logistical, governance and control functions for a large business unit, company or multinational organisation
• 5-7 Years' detailed insight and experience in all aspects associated with the procurement lifecycle relating to an IT business unit, in a large financial organisation with experience in engaging with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including senior executives and managing of vendors and vendor deliverables at an operation level
• 3-4 Years diverse experience in the running of the IT business, ranging from IT Operations, Architecture, Design, Project Delivery, Commercials and Financial management
