Lead: Events and Conferencing at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To uphold the Capitec brand to the highest standard through high-quality event execution, ensuring the seamless execution and positive attendee experiences for Capitec events and leading the planning, and executing events from brief to completion, ensuring all elements are in place and functioning as planned. 

Experience

• 3-5 years in a similar role and 8+yrs overall experience in event and conference planning and execution. 
• Influencing and leading cross functional stakeholders or suppliers
• Project planning & Event Logistics experience is essential
• Concept development 

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Diploma in Hospitality or Project Management

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
Knowledge

• Ability to review objectives and create concept proposals to achieve the desired outcomes
• Technical understanding of required equipment 
• Vendor and supplier engagement 
• Budget Management
