You Bring:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in the gaming industry with a focus on slot games.
• At least 3 years of experience being a UI/UX Designer/Developer or 2D/3D Animator with a strong understanding of gaming engines.
• Great understanding of casino games and real money gaming compliance, jurisdictions, trends, and regulatory bodies.
• Understanding online casino game development, with a focus on optimising games for all platforms, both regarding file size and performance.
• Highly organised, experienced in running multiple projects and delivering to tight deadlines.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Experience in building a team and recruitment, particularly in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in typical business applications software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as database and graphics software.
• Strong Adobe Suite knowledge (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Game Design, or a related field (advantageous).
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in producing online casino games (advantageous).
• Front-end Software Development experience (Unity, HTML, CSS, etc.) (advantageous).
• Strong track record of managing teams with the successful production of impactful slot games (advantageous).
• Experience in using project management tools e.g., Jira. (advantageous)

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the game productions, and manage multiple games, across all phases of production.
• Generate innovative and compelling game concepts, themes, and visual designs that resonate with the target audience.
• Create high-quality 2D game assets, including characters, symbols, backgrounds, animations, and special effects.
• Develop storyboards and prototypes to visualise game features, animations, and user interfaces.
• Liaise with key team members to ensure the game is produced according to the agreed vision. Produce prototypes for testing.
• Coordinate the quality assurance, certification, and translation processes of the games.
• Lead and inspire a team of artists, and provide mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback to foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Conduct regular reviews of artwork to ensure it meets the highest quality standards and aligns with the creative vision.
• Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing Slots Studio.
• Manage your teams’ daily tasks, backlogs, sprints, and reviews, following our workflow and processes.
• Track all tasks for creating assets, code, and deliverables for a game to make sure it’s delivered on time per our game pipeline schedule and milestone deliveries.
• Use Jira, work logs, and KPI reports to measure the team performance and resource capacity ensuring that team output is always optimal.
• Research, play, and study casino games to stay up-to-date with market trends and competition.
• Stay updated with industry trends, player preferences, and competitor offerings to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into game designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
• Research references and resources required to produce the assets of the game.
• Maintain production documentation.
• Adhoc responsibilities as and when required.
