Lead HR - IT at IndSAfri

• We are looking for an experienced HR Lead with a strong background in IT recruitment, as well as expertise in key HR functions such as employee negotiations, conflict resolution, and labour law compliance. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth HR operations, while also leading recruitment efforts to attract and retain top IT talent.

Responsibilities

IT Recruitment:

• Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for IT roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet the organization's talent acquisition goals.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build an effective recruitment pipeline.
• Maintain a strong network of IT professionals and leverage various platforms for talent acquisition.

HR Operations:

• Oversee and manage HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
• Facilitate effective conflict resolution and mediate employee issues in a fair and legal manner.
• Lead salary negotiations and ensure alignment with market trends while balancing budget constraints.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, staying updated on any changes to legislation.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect best practices and legal compliance.

Employee Engagement:

• Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive workplace.
• Drive retention strategies and manage employee feedback to improve overall job satisfaction.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members and managers on HR best practices.

HR Strategy:

• Work with senior management to align HR initiatives with the organization’s business strategy.
• Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, development programs, and succession planning initiatives.
• Monitor key HR metrics, such as employee turnover rates, and develop actionable strategies to improve outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have strong experience in IT recruitment with proven success in hiring for various IT roles (e.g., developers, engineers, IT support). (Atleast 5+ Years of relevant work experience in IT RECRUITMENT/IT STAFFING)
• Minimum 10+ years of work experience in HR IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Solid understanding of labor laws and HR compliance.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive employee issues with discretion and diplomacy.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution, negotiations, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.

Must have Skills:

• Experience working in the IT industry or technical recruitment agencies for atleast 10+ Years
• Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and reporting.
• Min 10+ Years of relevant work experience in HR (IT) and atleast 7+ Years of relevant work experience in IT Recruitment, HR functions such as labor laws, HR compliance, employee relations, conflict resolution, negotiations, etc
