    Lead Improvement & Process Automation

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This role is a permanent full-time position.

    • As a lead improvement and process automation you will be responsible to lead, develop and manage the performance of the South32 Global Business Services (GBS) Improvement and Process Automation Team. To effectively manage the timely execution of mandated activities; enable a process improvement culture within the team and across all GBS teams and drive automation opportunities that deliver value.

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Lead Robotic Process Automation and associated technologies across South32;
    • Lead all system changes and user acceptance testing across all functional areas
    • Drive a Process Improvement Culture in GBS and act as custodian of the GBS Improvement Framework;
    • Ensure GBS operates within a stable and fit for purpose operating environment through stability of core applications;
    • Ensure a best-in-class case management application that enables process efficiency and promotes customer satisfaction
    • Identify, support and lead initiatives to improve overall Customer Satisfaction though higher NPS scores across all GBS teams;
    • Promote best practice and the utilisation of best-in-class tools and techniques to enhance the GBS mandate

    ABOUT YOU:

    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    • Must have a minimum of 5 years GBS or Analytics experience of which at least 3 years is in a lead or manager position;
    • Working experience in reporting, analytics or Robotic Process Automation applications and platforms;
    • Working knowledge of process improvement practices;
    • Experience in provision of strategic direction for function;
    • Experience in leading high volume transactional shared services activities, preferably SAP based.

    Qualifications for this role are:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Finance/Commerce or related disciplines
