Lead Supply Chain Quality Manager - Lanseria at Airbus DS Optronics (Pty) Ltd

Details of the role as as follows:

• Act as a LSCQM interface in direct contact with Aerosud Supplier, to support the Supply Chain & Quality management of the several WPs assembled on site
• Report on supplier operational performance for On-Time, On-Quality (and On-Cost when applicable) using SC&Q management tools
• Monitor and support new product introduction to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase
• Assess the Supplier capacity, capability & performance and identify industrial risks as well as performance improvement projects opportunities
• Propose to Supplier mitigation actions ranging from short term recovery plans to durable Supplier development opportunities
• Secure Airbus support for agreed enablement actions and ensure supplier feedback on the progress of these actions

Experience:

Solid experience ideally in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Project Management

• MRP expertise, SAP environment experience
• Expertise in problem solving
• Experienced in the use and deployment of Digital solutions/tools
• Project management experience - LBIP
• Experience of transnational working

• Good co-ordination and relational skills to deal with Customers, Suppliers and various Airbus functions at all business levels
• Ability to cope with highly demanding environment
