    Learner, Voice Branch

    Job Description

    • As part of this commitment, we are looking for motivated, customer-focused and resilient individuals to join our Voice Branch Learnership Programme, a call centre environment.
    • If you have recently graduated and are eager to start your career in banking, this learnership provides an opportunity to bridge the gap between your academic knowledge and practical, real-world experience.
    • In this programme, you will gain hands-on exposure within the Voice Branch (call centre), where you will engage with clients telephonically and via email to resolve banking queries, provide product information and deliver professional service. This role operates in a fast-paced contact centre environment, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for helping customers.
    • You will also complete an Occupational Qualification at NQF Level 5, strengthening your technical knowledge and improving your employability in the banking and financial services sector.

    Key learning outcomes from this programme include:

    • Understanding the full value chain of the Voice Branch (call centre environment)
    • Delivering professional customer service via telephone and email
    • Developing strong communication and service skills
    • Analysing and processing client information accurately
    • Resolving customer enquiries efficiently and professionally
    • Understanding financial products and the regulatory framework
    • Building and maintaining professional client relationships
    • Applying appropriate telephone and email etiquette
    • This learnership will equip you with both the academic knowledge and practical call centre experience needed to succeed in customer-facing banking roles and create pathways for further development within Standard Bank.

    Qualifications

    • Have completed a Commerce related qualification

    Additional Information

    • Be a South African citizen
    • Be between the ages of 18 and 30
    • Able to speak, read and write English
    • Computer literate
    • Not have been employed for more than 2 years 
    • Not registered on any other learnership
    • Not studying at any other institution

    Learner Allowance:  R10 000 per month plus medical aid
