    Learnership: Engineering (Apprenticeship)

    PURPOSE

    • Purpose of our programme is to provide advanced workplace learning in a specialised discipline or sub discipline in the field of study
    • Interested Fraser Alexander Mineral Processing employees who meet the minimum requirements are encouraged to apply
    • Disciplines: Electrical, Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Boilermaker and Instrumentation

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Incumbents will be trained or exposed among others in the following:

    • Day to day running activities in the Mineral Processing sites
    • Safety aspects in different sites
    • Takes part in the Internal and External training
    • Give Suggestions and ideas on operations
    • Compile Monthly reports on time
    • Work as an assistant for a qualified artisan in a specific discipline
    • Do ad hoc related functions as instructed

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Grade 12/N3 (must have passed mathematics & Science with a 50% mark)
    • Relevant experience in the specific discipline will be an added advantage

    SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    • Obtain Medical Fitness Certificate
    • Subject to SAPS Criminal Record verification and qualifications
    • Pass Client Induction
