PURPOSE
- Administration of financial activities at HO level. Primary source of data input for Financial Systems.
Reporting
- Assist with monthly and annual hire purchase (HP) agreement reporting.
- Ad hoc plant/fleet reporting.
Governance
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (Value Added Tax Act etc.) including FA policies and procedures.
Budget and Forecast
- Ad hoc assistance when required.
Shared Services Responsibilities
- Generating purchase requests and subsequent receipt of goods at HO in accordance with orders placed.
- Follow-up on outstanding orders for Plant and Workshop.
- Assist in good management of company assets at a site level.
- Ad hoc HO stores and consumables management and recording of transactions relating to issues, receiving and stock take.
- Capturing of Plant returns onto the relevant system on an ad hoc basis.
- Escalation of Finance queries to Shared Services.
- Monthly HP reconciliations for amortisation schedules to the general ledger.
- Compile annual HP schedules for Auditors.
- Reconciliation of Workshop and Fixed Assets petty cash and submission for reimbursement.
- Perform administrative and filing duties.
Operational Responsibilities
- Perform other site and administrational duties as required
QUALIFICATION
- Grade 12 with Accounting and/or Mathematics.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year experience in administrative role or similar.
- Experience with an ERP system would be advantageous.

- Responsible for adherence to technical standards and work methods, for section, in accordance with organisational and client requirements, policies, procedures and legislation
SHEQ Management
- Check sums are right on plan drawings and quantities and that all materials and work are to the specifications
- Record the condition of plant arriving on site on a form with photographs
People Management
- Lead, and manage team

- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement for the duration of the project
- Align with client culture requirements as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- National Diploma in Civil or Mining / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- B Tech in Civil or Mining / Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent preferred
EXPERIENCE
- At least one to two year’s tailings deposition experience working in a mining / tailings environment
