Job Description:

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Integrate industry engineering best practices into learning delivery system at ESTC.
• Implementation and coordination of continuous evaluation in engineering skills training.
• Design new training programmes to meet organisational needs
• Coordinate and schedule training capacity in support of engineering training strategy.
• Report progress against predetermined targets.
• Implement Marketing strategy.
• Conduct specialized courses.
• Projects implementation.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant legislations applicable to specific trades including but not limited to the SDA, SDLA, FETCA, OHSA, SAQA, QCTO, LRA, BCEA, EE, DHET.
• The time frame of work is 3 years.

Qualifications:

• Minimum NQF Level 5 OD ETDP
• Higher Certificate. NQF 6 Diploma in OD ETDP will be advantageous.
• Engineering Trade Certificate.
• Snr Foreman /Engineering Specialist Certificate will be advantageous.
• Assessor and Moderator Certificate

Experience:

• 5 years engineering SME experience, including 1 year supervisory experience and 2 years HRD Experience/Foreman experience. Advantageous: Projects experience.
