Leave Clerk at Saldanha Municipality

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12  
• 1-year relevant experience  
• Computer Literacy (MS Office)  
• Sound knowledge of BCEA & Collective agreements  
• Good communication skills in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape

Preferred Qualification:

• Grade 12 with Accountancy as a subject  2 years relevant experience Sound knowledge of BCEA & Collective agreements  Computer Literacy (MS Office)  High level responsibility  Ability to work accurately under pressure  Good human relations, interpersonal and communication skills

Duties will entail:

• Manage ESS leave applications  
• Manages manual leave applications through the receipt White and Yellow copies of all Manual Leave forms  
• Preparing Batches for capturing of manual leave forms onto leave records on Payroll system in batches 
• Updating leave on the ESS Leave System  
• Handle all leave related enquires  
• Printing of leave records for Line Management and Heads of departments  
• Liaise with Sections Heads on incorrect leave being authorized  Filing
