Lecturer: Anthropology at University of Limpopo

Requirements:

• A Master's degree in Anthropology
• Evidence of Anthropology modules or electives at Undergraduate level
• At least two years teaching experience
• Ability to identify and apply recent theoretical and methodological debates in Anthropology
• Expertise in Anthropological Research Methods
• Experience in the development of e-learning materials and the use of various online platforms for teaching and learning in Higher Education
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Evidence of quality research output in DHET accredited journals or books will be an added advantage
• Ability to build a collegial atmosphere and a commitment to teaching and learning

Duties:
The successful applicant will be required to:

• Teach students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Conduct research and supervise Honours and Masters students
• Publish in DHET peer-reviewed journals
• Develop curriculum and course materials
• Coordinate programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Participate in community engagement activities
