Contribute towards the successful execution of the Bachelor of Social Work Programme.
Teach Field Instruction Modules.
Actively participate in departmental research programmes and postgraduate supervision.
Inherent Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Social Work or closely related discipline on NQF Level 9 (contract appointment: 5 years during which a PhD in Social Work or closely related discipline on NQF Level 10 MUST be obtained to be converted into a permanent position).
Proven experience in the delivery of poster or oral presentations at conferences or equivalent activities.
Evidence of manuscripts produced that have the potential to be converted or submitted for publication in accredited journals.
A good academic record (attach a copy).
Recommendations:
Three (3) years’ relevant experience in Social Work Field Instruction Education.
Knowledge of Student Placements and the Social Welfare Sector in the Free State.
Proven research record of relevant publications in nationally accredited journals.
Registration with a professional body (SACSSP)(attach proof).
Member of a national or international scholarly society or committee.
