Brief Description
- Minimum Qualifications and experience:
- PhD in a South African Language with a focus on isiZulu.
- Ability to teach Sesotho would be an added advantage.
- A minimum of five years’ experience of teaching isiZulu at school and/or in higher education.
Duties:
- Ability to contribute to curriculum innovation and design and implementation of new courses.
- Ability to contribute to both isiZulu Home Language and isiZulu First Additional Language.
- Ability to teach at postgraduate level and supervise research.
- Evidence of research ability and/or potential (a publication record would be an advantage for Lecturer).
- Ability to contribute to transformation in the School and University.
